Hello dear friends! It has been quite some time since I manage to put thoughts into printed words - but a comment from an acquaintance recently got me started again. She said she thinks in blog posts - and it struck me that I, too, often think to myself that same way. Not your typical NP work attire!
Welcome to my blog! I am a U.S. Air Force family nurse practitioner who spent nine months in Afghanistan as part of a Provincial Reconstruction Team - returning to the US in the Spring of 2010. After monitoring and initiating projects to rebuild that war-torn nation, I returned to the States, moved to a new city and started a new job. The changes never stop and - when I can sit still long enough to write - provide some interesting blog fodder!
